VK45 vs. VK56

Hey there.

I've done quite a bit of searching..

Are the VK45 and VK56 cranks the same dimenstions (except for stroke..) Journals, length, etc?

Also, are the intake ports on the heads the same? IOW, if someone had a custom manifold made for the VK56, would it work on the VK45?

the VK45 should be cheaper if that helps. I saw a few on Ebay go for 800-1000.

the mains are the same size but the vk45 rod jurnal is a bit smaller. i think the intake ports are the same but the exaust ports are different, 45 has round ports 56 has oval ports. the vk56 has a taller deck height so the heads are further apart so the intake manifolds wouldnt interchange.

is the journal spacing the same? That's really the meat and potatoes of what im after..
