I'm sure I read in the past that the VK45 has low weight, low friction forged pistons. Is this true, and if so does anyone know of the pin diameter, valve cutouts etc are the same as the VH ??

When I was talking to the Parts guy @ Garcia Infiniti of Albuquerque he called up the size indexs for both engines and at least the valves were interchangeable.

I didn't even ask about the Cams or Pistons...Do you think the Cams would be interchangable even though the VK is C-VVT?

The pistons are cast, a much more stable configuration for normally aspirated engines.
