Can someone just point me to a facts/spec sheet for these motors? Whats the deal between the 2? Im more of a Lseries guy so this is like rocket science to me..lol I hear something about a 4.1L vs a 4.5L and the VK 4.1L making better power... I know a bit about the 5.6L. I may be looking at a new motor for my Q45 as the car was run by the PO for a while while the timing chain was slacked out. Engine world offers engines pretty cheap considering I can buy a gasket set for the same price. Someone want to give me a rundown pros and cons of dropping one of these other motors in my 92? I am looking for a bolt in that most smog techs are going to miss up so the 5.6 is deffinately out of the Q as it looks quite a bit different.

I should add I did look around a bit first too and I wasnt able to decifer some of the details.

You need a 1990-1993 VH45DE.

Read Q45tech's posts about selecting and rehabilitating them.
