i had a group of kids standing around talking about how cool it looks and wut not, and i get smiles and nods of approval from everyone so im pretty sure that its good feedback aside from that every time i leave it in the parking lot ppl are always complimenting me, any car shop i goto, and hang spot, anywhere... so this whole "are u sure its good stares" BS is really F***** retarted cus i wouldnt be bragging if it wasnt. seems like versa owners have some lodged up their a**

If you didnt want our opinions you shouldnt have posted it. On top of that you said "I dont care if you bash it". Obviously you care or you wouldnt be making a big deal about a few comments. If people around you like it then thats ok. You like it and thats all that matters really.

Honestly though? I dont like it, I'm sure there are a ton of others outside of where you hang out that concur with the "It only matters if you like it, but personally I dislike the way it looks" sentiment shared with other people. Everyone knows I prefer function over flash along with many other automobile enthusiasts.

To sum up this post...I dislike it and I'm sure there are plenty of others. If you dont like what we say, dont post anymore of these "visual upgrades" or "my mods" posts please.

But then you go and get all defensive when people express an opinion other than what you want to hear. How do you expect people to react when you brag about kids liking your Spiderman car? Seriously. I mean, you even said it may be waaaaaaaaaaay over the top. Yet, when we point that out you get all offended. Then you talk about all these extra things like subwoofer "blade spinners" or whatever. As far as we know, you're making this whole "people complimenting me everywhere" thing up. Honestly? The majority of people outside the "Look at my Cavaleir with the body kit, undercar neon, 50 speakers, 4 amps, 3 subwoofers, in car strobes and neon, 20 in rims and 50 spoilers" probably dont care that your car has so much extra stuff.

I always try not to bash someone for their car, but when somebody goes back on what they say, like when you said you didnt care if people bashed it, then its kinda of opening a can of worms for people to make fun of you and to point out that you essentially lied about your original post. I think it is waaaaaaaay over the top and is getting extremely tacky IMO. Maybe the without the headlight mascara, tacky seat covers and some of the gaudy exterior mods, it'd look ok. I think a great example of moding responsibly while keeping a fresh and decent look is Blind Snyper's Versa. I dont have anything bad to say.

The wheels are tasteful, graphics not over the top and it tries to keep a semi-stock look. I cant really criticise his car for anything. Another "show car" that I like are Fox marketings cars. He has a Versa that maintains a stockish look with better paint, a mild body kit, upgraded interior and a turbocharger. Here is a link----> http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2454369

Well like i've thought before, u ppl dont like over doing it. kinda like ppl not liking to much jewelry, or nice clothes, and what not, but its real stupid when u get down to "your lying about ppl liking it" just cus u dont doesnt mean they dont. i have alot of friends that run their cars to strips, im heading out to Honda day with like 15 of em sat. and 3 out of 15 of em said "it's ok, but not my thing" the rest love it, and i did not start the name calling...

Look, I never said you were lying. I said as far as we know you COULD be making it up. I never said ARE in that sentence. I'm interested as to all your friends cars are. If they are into the same "show car" thing as you are, of course they're gonna like it.I mean, unless its an S2000 or a Honda with a B series or K20 swap then they're almost guaranteed to be bodykitted primered cars.

In all seriousness, what kind of cars do they run?

If you want an honest to god, constructive criticism from me I'll give it. The headlight mascara needs to go. Ditch the altezza's and get smoked lights like on the versaspeed.com versa. Also, scrap the grill and get either the versaspeed grill or something similair to this except for the Versa. Get rid of the webbing too, its just too random and really doesnt accent anything. Seat covers need to go as well.

Ditch the spider on the side. Place it on the hood. Then have the webbing come outwards across the hood onto the car from the spider.

Do that and it wont be so tacky and overplayed like it is. Its obvious the majority of people are not big fans of the extra graphics. It's not the overdoing thing. It's not really tasteful, more gaudy and like someone said, "an old lady with too much makeup on" the way it is right now.

well one runs a completely reconstructed Honda Del sol dont know what year or parts but its built well, another got an Accord, some engine work, insane sound system, another has a 1990 BMW 325is hooked up, another runs a G35 fully built, they all race, im the only show off, and they love it except the owner of the del sol, he hates exterior work, *shrugs* and ur right, it is ALOT of **** but i didnt think of the hood thing and webs stretching down, either way its a decal, ima get a full iridescent paint job eventually, but i love the grill and i still have my old BLACKED out taillights, i just like the arrangement of these lights.

If you're looking for a theme, pick something you love. It needs to be something you wont get tired of looking at, day after day, month after month, year after year. If its something you'll get tired of looking at, you'll have spent all that money and time doing something that you'll end up hating to drive every morning.

Red Devil has made great points and expressed his opinion like you allowed, and you turned and said he was a "sped," well, that's just about the least mature thing someone can do. This car is basically the conjunction of awful and childish. I don't know how old Russian Bull is, but I'm going to have to say that this is his first car... mostly because I'm sure that I never saw anything about a car committing ritualistic suicide to try and regain its honor...

Please stop posting pics of this car. It's the first post newcomers are going to see, and I'd really like to see this forum grow...
