You know the ones having to do with the airbags; there's one on each side. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had any success in removing them and if so, how? Thanks.

Isn't it a law that they have to be on there?

It very well may be, but I've seen plenty of folks take 'em off on other vehicles. I know they are stuck on there pretty well, so I kinda thought maybe they weren't meant to come off.

The manufacturer is required by law to put them there, but you (the end user) can do whatever the h*** you want with them. Same situation with the tags on stuffed aminals; your kid isn't going to be sent to federal prison for removing the tag from his stuffed bunny. (When I was a kid, I thought there was a prison for kids who removed those tags... Kindertraz or something)

As for removing them, they are basically iron-on transfers; you'll have to "wear" them off with a large coin, or send them to an upholstry shop to be re-covered.

Can you explain the "wear them off with a large coin" part? Thanks man.

Before removing the stickers, check with a local body shop to ensure your state does not require them to pass inspection laws (for states that have inspection). The visor sticker may be listed as a "component of an active safety system" and any alteration to these can fail inspection. It's always best to have info.

I know they are ugly but we use them on both cars to line of with the hanging tennis balls for parking in the garage.

The tennis balls are hanging from the ceiling of the garage and we drive in far enough so the ball touches the windshield in a spot that coinsides with a spot on the sticker on the sunvisor. My garage has a 16' door so this gives us the maximum distance front, back and between the two cars.

Ahh, well that's nice that they serve a purpose and aren't just an eyesore.

Sweet! Do you have those on your V? They definitely beat the airbag ones.

KimberKenobi's warning stickers;

"WARNING!!! This aircraft is not equipped with wings, elevator, propeller, or rudder; FLY AT OWN RISK!!!"

I dunno Kimber... you can do what you want to the V, but until you ACTUALLY put wings on it, it wouldn't feel like "flying"... at least not when compared to my old Subaru XTs, where the controls were actually modeled after jet fighter parts.

I believe the Versa would look great with a rudder and elevator mounted to the rear.
