Virtually Indestructible intellikey

so my wife woke me up this morning and asked what would happen if one of the intellikey's was ran through the washer AND dryer. i responded with a " it would be ruined..... WHY?" she said no reason, and then walked away. i fell back asleep, later on i went out to the car opened the door started it up and went to the store,, when i arrived back at the house my wife looked at me and asked if i had any problems with my keys and with starting the car, i said no, she then told me she had washed AND dried my car keys by accident...

so just for heads up to all , these intellikeys can take a hell of a beating.

What if your key stopped working when you took the car out to the store? But glad they are "waterproof"!

I could've sworn someone already posted this exact thing. His wife washed them and they still worked like a champ.

If I can help it though... I rather not test this out.

well i can attest that the keys are waterproof, and as for the repost of the same situation , well hell i had no idea, anywho good times

yup i had the keys in my pocket and my husband threw the jeans in the wash without checking first........i freaked out!!!! but yeah that was about 4 months ago and its still working ever since!!!!!
