Yeah yeah I know there are a few threads for different locations in Virginia already. But I have a few questions. Basically I'm thinking about moving back to VA, and I'm wondering how many people on here are from there. And since I have never owned a car there (I lived there when I was little)...what do you need to get a license? I know some states require more than others, like WV requires proof of residence. Any idea how long I can keep my current Colorado plates and license before having to get VA ones? How strict are the rules concerning emissions, exhaust noise levels, etc.? I know this probably depends on particular counties, but there's bound to be a general rule. Also, if anyone is from the Charlottesville or Virginia Beach areas, are there any kind of local 240 or drifting car clubs around either of those places? Or any performance shops that are familiar with the s-chassis cars? Any other info concerning motorsports in VA would be cool too...such as NASA or SCCA events...etc. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you have 30 days to get VA tags.
