VIR, CMP Lapping days...

Hello everyone! If it's ok, I'll invite you all to yet another lapping day organization

Some of you might know me from the Triangle Z Club / Tarheel Sports Car Club events over the last 8 years. While I'm still an event steward and registrar for them, I decided I wanted to throw my hat into the ring of advanced lapping day events. So I formed Asphalt Ventures, LLC.

My plan is to host events on track no one else is running on I have three events lined up so far... the first is on VIR's North course on Feb 11th (Monday). I'll be at Carolina Motorsports Park in March, and then back at VIR, this time on the tragically over-looked South course in April.

My events are advanced lapping day open to all makes and models. Point-by passing on the straights. Cars must be inspected prior to the event arrival, I'll honor most marquee clubs' forms and annual inspections. The schedule is basically 8 1-hour sessions in which you can drive as much or as little as you want. A checker will be thrown every hour as a semi-forced break, and to give the corner workers a breather.
