I don't get it. what kind of race was that? I have no way of telling how fast they were going or anything.besides, that sounded like a turbo GSR or Type R motor which isn't to be taken lightly.

those hatches are pretty light. I didnt click the link, but I assume its the 2 guys in the viper and they go from a rolling start.....

Most likely a built GSR w/ a turbo. omg, those haul balls. And yes, they do have the capacity to keep up with a viper(i've ridden in both) Oh MY!!!!!!

he is found on honda-tech.com sometimes but hes on some atlanta board I forgot. Um.... from what i've read and seen him post, his car is extremely built. BTW in that video his hand brake was slightly on thats why the brakes flare up a bit.his car is 400+ hp right now

Even though I'm not a honda person I sure would enjoy to drive that around.

I had checked a link from a corvette site about a year ago. Civic guys goes in looking to get info on vettes, he's thinking about buying one. They all start messing with him about the civic and his claims it was fast. He finally gets tired and tells them to put up or shut up. so one does.

He won two out of three races. Got him from a start and a 20 mph roll on, but the 45 (i think) mph roll on the C5 beat him. It is amazing what a well built and boosted civic can do.

Whats really funny, the vette guys all insisted they had to race for money. The C5 driver had a poll on the web site about what he should do with the civic guys money when he won. HA!

That Civic has a built LS turbo motor, btw. He has an open dump straight from the downpipe and still has the stock DX exhaust hanging in the back.. ultimate sleeper. :P

that was last month at the supra challenge in San Antonio.Good grief you guys are like 3 months behind on the video and a month behind on current stats on the car.

man give the civic a break, its a 10 second car. Thats faster then alot of peoples cars, anything that runs 10 second ets, and isnt a bike, you gotta bow down and give it respect. And pluse no one ever thinks a civic would get in your ***, it sthe perfect sleeper. And that video is old.

What it means, JJ240, is :Werd to a guy who wants to devote years of his life and thousands of dollars to build a balls out civic.

As we all know, loud mouth morons drive all kinds of cars, corvettes and vipers and civics all included. If a guy can build a civic that will out run a viper, great... to each his own.

I think his E-brake was on, look at how the rear disks heat up on acceleration, maybe a caliper is sticking.

yeah, i watched it again and the back discs were definatly lighting up. I wonder what the results would have been with out the brake pad contact....

Okay, I guess I will have to be the one to bash the CIVIC.

I hate Civics. They suck. Okay now that I said that.

I deffinetly have to tip my hat to these guys. They are true tuners. Not the punk kids that have made me hate Honda's.
