Ok guys, this was a fix it gone wrong.

The alarm was and still is working fine. The remote start and associated details are screwed now.

I tried messing around w/ my Viper 791xv yesterday because I was trying to hook up the cold start wire since it did not like to remote start after a few hours or overnight.

All of a sudden, while playing around and connecting this new wire (purple on 4 pin to one of the harness wires, don't remember which one), the car starts engaging itself, I unplug it, then everything's ok.

Well, after a long while of playing around and messing stuff up, the car engages by itself when I plug in the fuse for one of the red constant wires going to the 12 constant.

I ended up disconnecting EVERYTHING and only leaving the satellite relay, the purple wire from relay to engine side starter wire black/yellow, the green wire from relay to key side starter wire.

The relay itself is no longer plugged into the alarm and the alarm is disconnected from power. I tried it w/ eveyrthing plugged in and it would engage itself. I tried it with just the few wires plugged in above, and it would engage itself as soon as I give power to that red wire. Of course, it just cranks teh starter forever and never starts.

Did I totally mess up my relay? and where can I get a new one if I did?

or did I mess up a ground or something? or connecting the wrong wires?

Thanks for all your help
