Hi all- I want to install a Viper 211hv keyless entry in my 1993 Nissan 300zx TT. It has door lock actuators in both doors from the factory, factory anti-theft and it has an aftermarket turbo timer. I found a pretty good writeup on how to install the Valet 712t (same unit, different brand name from DEI) but it made no mention of how to integrate a timer.

So I actually have 2 questions-

1) How does one get the 211hv to work with the turbo timer so the alarm arms and the doors lock when the lock button is pressed (engine still running, key removed)?

2) Both that writeup and the 300zx wiring data from the12volt.com show that the 2 actuator wires (lock and unlock, grn/blk & blu/blk) get connected to the brown wire coming from the door lock timer, and the NC control wire (wht/blk) gets connected to the brown wire going to the door. But when I look at the factory manual for the car it shows that there is a blue/green wire for lock, and a blue wire for unlock. I can find my way around a wiring diagram (re-designed a wiring harness for a medium duty diesel truck at a previous job) but I am so confused.

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Nicoclub!

1) You need to dumb down the vibration sensor on the alarm, otherwise the engine running will trigger the warning chirp. Happened with my old HKS turbo timer and Clifford Concept 600 alarm.

2) I don't have access to wiring diagrams for the door panels, sorry I can't help there.
