no doubt it is a good chunk of change...(i didnt pay that price however...).lybrian1 wrote:that is alot of money if you think about it. those rims are like 5% of the price of the vehicle.
but.. well worth it
Looks sharp mate!! Unfortunately I won't be purchasing my rims (for now) due to unexpected expenses But I sure up for a Markham or GTA meet sometimeG35 Toronto wrote:Since getting them on a couple of days ago I have been non stop on the go.
Figures I wash the car and prep it...it then rains.
I just managed to take these crappy shots as I dont see myself getting time to do it again till later this week.
I will update with better pics. On a side note..I am definately going to paint the calipers black.
Overall the feel and road feedback is great, no noticable increase in road noise. Handling feels much improved due to the tire compound and stiffer sidewall. Acceleration has not changed (overall weight is THINK is about the same as the 18" stock setup..will confirm later).
The 40 side profile tire is perfect in my opinion...anything smaller and pot holes become more of hazard.
Not sure I would go 22", but part of me thinks that 21" (extremely rare rim...even more rare of a tire) would look really aggressive.

Comments welcome. (Side note regarding another thread: 35% Tint all around)
.... interesting as I have not heard any noticable change in road noise. That being side whenever you move to a smaller profile tire, it is assumed that more noise travels to the cabin of the car.Mixelplux wrote:I had those tires on my previous acura - From what I remember they were mighty loud.
