2007 M35 Sport 70K miles, kept under a carport, windshield tinted and dashboard is severely cracked.
Has anyone made any headway with Infiniti?

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. It's not a safety issue, so there will be no recourse. Just ignore it, like I do. I have cracks all around my vents from the A/C cooling the dash after being in the sun, I guess. Meh. I'm not about to yank the dash. That would probably cause more issues than it would fix.

I agree. It is highly unlikely that Infiniti will spend countless dollars to replace anything close to 10 years old if it isn't a safety issue and just a normal cosmetic deterioration from normal use.
I recovered mine myself and it looks brilliant - even better than new because I used a leather-like vinyl and the color match is perfect with the grey material on the rest of the car. If I remember correctly, it cost me about $50 and one afternoon's work.
