Hi Guys, This is my first post. I just recently purchased a 2003 Pathfinder LE - it's very clean, just under 115k miles. Actually, maybe
too clean, and that's where my question lies. The body panels show less than typical wear and scratches for a 2003, but not like it was JUST painted or anything like that. However, the door jams and inside of the doors are immaculate. I know many newer cars have VIN stickers on every body panel that you can easily see when you open a door / hood / trunk. This lets you know if it's an original panel, or if it's been replaced. I looked at a 2002 Pathfinder before buying this one, and it had these stickers (at least I think it did). However, this 2003 doesn't have them - on ANY of the panels. The tire / vin sticker is on the driver's door pillar (separating the front from the back seat), but nothing on any of the doors or even the hatch or hood. Can anyone confirm if you have a 2003 (or other year) if you have these stickers? Like I said, the 02 I looked at did, I know my ex-wife's MDX has them on each panel, an older TL I had had them, my Lincoln LS did, my 94 Mustang does, etc... If it was missing from just one door then I just figure that door was painted or replaced, but it's not any ANY of the doors... Can anyone help shed some light? BTW, all the body lines line up well, I don't notice any overspray or anything else to make me think it was painted on - other than not having those VIN stickers on each of the panels... Thanks in advance for everyone's input!
