VIN # & Options? for Infiniti M35

Hey all! I will shortly be in the market for a used M35 with Premium Package. Does the vin number of any vehicle include the model number of a given vehicle? What is the model # of a M35 with premium package?

Unfortunately, I do not know the specific coding for the M yet! I am pretty sure it has things like color and 4WD, but I would be very surprised if it has the package and options info included in the VIN.

I will go look at the Service Manual to see if I see anything specific ...

Okay, I was partially right and partially wrong. The AWD and 2WD info is there, but not the color (I do not know why I thought that). Certainly no option information in the VIN! Here is the relevant Service Manual page (click on the thumbnail to get the bigger image).
