According to the following VIN Chart, my 1991 Q45 should have the letter "T" for the Plant Code which is Tochigi, but my VIN has the letter "M" which coincidentally is also Tochigi. Anyone else have the letter "M" for a Plant Code for their 1990-1993 Q45?

Ahh, I wondered what the difference between "D" and "I" were in regards to fuel injection.

Where did you find these? Do they have a Nissan equivalent for the VIN labelling?

I cannot mention where I found this, becaue it is a violation of the forum rules. I amde that mistake when I posted it the first time and the entire thread was deleted. I would be happy to email it to you though .

Every FSM should have a decoder for that particular model at the very least.

D is for direct cylinder injection as in VK45DD.

Do not know of an I (throttle body) that made it to the US, but Chevy has lots of them from the eighties.

http://www.infinitihelp.com has this chart, so maybe there is a http://www.nissanhelp.com ?
