Grinding: On the top bolt, this right item circle in the above picture juts just enough to make the bracket a little odd. Does it need to be ground down? If so, will there still be sufficient threads for the tensioner bolt?

Belt Rubbing: I noticed that when using the stock belt on the Villager alternator, with the tensioner the whole way in, the belt is at an angle that would rub the tensioner. As I move the alternator away from the engine, there is more space between the tensioner and belt. Is this normal? Do we have to run the alternator really far away from the engine? (Further out in the bracket?)

Aside from those two issues, once you have the fan shroud, radiator hose, fan, and swaybar out of the way, it's pretty simple. The drilling was way easier than I thought it would be.
