Quote »when is dee gonna squeeze some real power out of that thing?[/quote] When it decides to stop being a little biotch and stop bogging so badly. Remember this, it is my G/F's car and I use it for R&D. My own personal sentra is not available as of yet, but it will in a very short minute.

And what do you mean some real power? It's powerful enough for what we need it to do. It's gives you 300+whp @ 15psi (everyday). Not too many others are making that power as of yet.

My intent is not to destroy the motor, but to give all of you some idea as to just how far a stock CA18DET can go without all the fuss and stuff. I seriously worry about the headgasket because I'm playing with 20psi and more, but it has been good so far.

The bottom end is a solid performer, but if I had had an extra metal headgasket laying around, I would remove the stock one and keep on going with the stock pistons and jack the boost up some more.

Technically, it's more the driver than the car and I will get better as time passes. And remember this, I never proclaimed to be the ultimate drag racer, but give me a nice stretch of road and another fast car and the car will give you a show that you'll never forget.

I don't think a lot of the newer members have seen your other motor's build up. I might be a good idea to post a new thread w/ some pics and specs (since there was no one old thread that had that info...it's all scattered around).

all the new people need to know is that its gonna be absolutely rediculous. i think dee said "it will make 650whp or die trying". that says enough by itself.

Axlerod, what times are you on AIM, probably fairly early compared to me with the 5 or so hours time difference.

I have the s13v's skyline vid and an mp3 of my my car on the dyno.
