Video of some great races with a full bpu supra from 2 different rolls......the first video is from about a 50mph-140mph, and the second video is from about 35 mph-140mph.

The car I raced was an automatic BPU++ supra with all the mods except for nitrous (boost controller, ECU upgrade, bigger intercooler, cam gears, downpipe, exhaust, intake, etc...)

The passenger in the supra used his fingers on the first race and one of us honked on the second race. Although it looks like I may have gotten an unfair jump, I went on his buddy's countdown on the first race and after the 3rd honk on the second race. This is only the 2nd time the Supra owner has raced his car and I don't think he has his brake boosting down, as you can see in the video's his car didn't spool until after a few seconds.

To be honest I think once boost kicks in ,his car is a little faster than mine up until about 120-125mph when his overdrive kicks in. With my 7000rpm rev limiter I don't shift to overdrive until 143mph, which surprisingly gives my car a top end advantage over his, as you can see by me pulling away from him in the end of both races....

To the Supra owner (I won't disclose names) you are a class act and you have an awesome car. He's going single soon and is going to wipe the floor with me the next time we meet:( . Best of luck on that project!! :)

Oh yeah, excuse my slow as shifting....got a shifter linkage issue that needs fixing:D

race 1 http://www.azmustangs.com/scot...1.wmv

race 2 http://www.azmustangs.com/scot...3.wmv

These are the only 2 races that went the full distance.:(

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------OK, next set of videos are me versus a heads/cam/intake/full exhausted 5.0L 1995 GT mustang spraying a 200 shot...oh yeah, and he had slicks on for the race

So here is my smartass getting all cocky about the race ahead of time: http://www.azmustangs.com/scot...t.wmv

His car dynoed 275rwhp before the 200 shot

I wanted to go from a higher speed punch to negate his torque/traction, but he only wanted to go from 40mph rolls :(

Needless to say he stomped me off the line!! :p We never got to wind out the races like the supra videos.....i thought my car started to pull on him a little bit at higher speeds but he would always hit the brakes at 90mph or so. :( I'm gonna see if I can get another race with him on real tires so we can race to real speeds one of these days.

He too was a class act and has a bad a** car:thumbup:

race 1 & 2 http://www.azmustangs.com/scot...1.wmv

Thanks to Mr. K for the work on the vids!!!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

You fricken KILLED that supra. I too would like to see a high speed race against that Mustang. It did look to me like you started to pull on him before he started braking. Your car is a BEAST man. Can't wait to see it all hooked up later on.

Nick.

That stang pussied out, but what can you expect from a Ford. : ) You'd have had him if you'd raced a little longer. : )

:rolleyes I'm sorry, but your statement is as moronic as they come.

My "heavy" domestic weighs a whopping 3350 lbs. Not to mention I get 30 mpg on the highway and about 20 in the city.

All this with over 500hp at the crank. So what were you saying?:rolleyes

3600-3300=1 fat a**:bshake But seriously, that car sounds pretty bad a**. Check out the vid of the walkaround(On another thread, can't remember which one). Still don't like domestics though. Actually, I kinda half a** was racing this guy today in what I thought was a Z28 but it had to be a V6 with a dual exhaust. I was getting all proud of myself because he couldn't pull on me until the ol' speed governor was getting close and I had to back off, which is when he proceeded to accelerate and really piss me off because I had to stop. :rant But anyway, I caught up to him and after listening to him try to get away again figured that his car sounded to whimpy to be a V8. Oh well, not too shabby for my 4 banger against a V6 right? I have got to get rid of that speed governor.

Hey now. If I swapped in a sr20 and boosted it to 350rwhp, I still be well under 3,000lbs. That'd be some competetion, even you must admit.

Ah yes;) , but your inferior driving skills would negate any weight advantage you possessed! :pface
