A sort of large file size (for the actual size) video of my Q in motion...some folks find it hard to believe the car rides at that height.http://www.onetongarage.com/van/van.MOV

Definitely sits l-o-w. I'm surprised you get such a good ride out of chopped stock springs...

I forgot how quite the Q is until I saw that vid...

Awesome posts one ton garage... I think I speak for all of us when I say it's nice to have you on NICO.

Thanks Corey...

The Q is going slow... but that's because it's in a parking lot! >HAHA< I'm working on capturing vids of the car driving on the roads and on the freeway... the best part is actually seeing the car in motion, at speed. Esp with wheels with lip, and low offset, flushed with the fenders... when you see the car from 3/4 angles, all you see are two huge, shiny, spinning rings. I've only had the chance to catch it from the outside once since I'm of course always driving it...

Jesda: The combination of camber and caster up front allows the wheels to sort of "flop" in as you turn them, so they actually do clear the fender lips w/o a problem. And the camber curve on the front multi-link is super agressive (thanks to the ultra short uca), so, like the back, as long as you clear at static height, you can be pretty much assured of clearance throughout the whole suspension's travel. Oh, and the Scion belongs to a friend of mine.. I've been helping him work on it.

I think I heard the tire hit a fender.

You guys sure do drive them slowly. Maybe it's all the parking lots sans speed bumps.

Yup that is what you heard on the gray car because he cranked his coilovers down a little bit further than usual to mock up ideal ride height for air suspension. And evidently, that was not ideal. Oh yah, not to mention that the fenders are not 100% done being pulled and smoothed. But that car is OBVIOUSLY a work in progress. And of course, since you like picking on the videos because you can't comprehend the fact that the cars CAN be daily driven like that, I will have videos of my car (which is at the height I intend, and the fender work is done) being driven on the crappy norcal fwys (i.e. 880 and 101S between mtn view and sunnyvale), in addition to pics that show that the tires do not even come close to scrubbing the main electrical harnesses in the inner fenders (which is a known major problem with a lot of nissans, and mostly the S13/14/15s that are lowered any more than 2"..whether for street or track use). Hmmm, and maybe I will try and get footage of my Q taking certain corners at speed vs. my miata taking the same corners (with miata being returned to stock suspension soon).
