Here's a video like I promised in the other thread. Not too exciting. The nismo mounts cause my intake to rattle though... its not the motor making noise Motor is smooth as a baby's bottom.

Three things, what exhaust setup do you have? You are running way way too rich at idle, and probably is the reason i ask about the exhaust. Oh yeah and fix that intake pipe, can enjoy the sound of a smooth running engine with that racket. But other than those things.

Shes Beautiful

Yeah it was. I drove it last night though and it was idling right at 750-800. I might switch out my idle speed controller and see what happens. That of course is after I check for boost/vacuum leaks.

WOT = not possible the way it is now. As soon as I figure out wtf is making it run like **** under accel, I'll try and get more video.

Its probably running way too rich and thats why it runs like **** under load. Imagine if you are running 10.6 A/F at idle it will probably only get richer as you give it more load. Also if there is a loose intercooler pipe or your maf is fubar then it will not run under load.

He's Running a T-25.

There is a boost leak somewhere around the manifold. Needs to come over and hook up to my air compressor to find it.

Speaking of your house... can I come by today to do the boost leak test?

And as far as parts... I got everything from either Nissan, Advance Auto Parts, or Ebay. The motor itself I got from a friend. The install I did with a little help from a couple of my friends.

Sounds a lot better than the KA did. Still sounded kinda ricey as you peeled out of my neighborhood. No competition for me

When you going to install that BOV? Compressor surge sounds horrible.

BOV is going on this weekend or early next week. I am just too lazy to take the IC pipe off and get the flange welded on

Oh, and I found out I have a few nasty boost leaks. One at the intercooler inlet, a MASSIVE one at the idle control unit, and the stupid #1 injector seal (where it sits in the manifold). I only fixed the intercooler pipe leak so far and it already made a decent bit of difference. The idle air leak should get the car running pretty damn good. We'll see though!

MAP ftw!

Seriously, I had a bad clamp on my IC piping that I kept blowing apart , but I'd just drive on untill I had a good place to stop and fix it, no stumbling, but no boost!

That engine looks GREAT in there! You've done an awesome job with it and good luck with getting the glitches straightened out and everything tuned!
