Today I went to CBRD Speedfactory here in York, PA to put the Artisan Performance Turbo Kit to the test. I didn't get upgraded injectors or engine management with the kit yet as that is still in development on what will work.

CBRD did 3 pulls on the dyno and two in third gear and one in fouth that really didn't count, the dyno miss read or something. Air/Fuel numbers where awesome and didn't lean out a bit which is awesome. They stayed in the 10's which is really good.

At 4.6psi the Coupe did 243hp and 245ft.lbs.of torque which isn't bad. The base number was 198 at the wheels making that a 45hp gain at the wheels. CBRD dynoed a new 350Z last week and that did 193 at the wheels stock on the 306hp VQ35 motor. No wonder I blew the doors off a new NISMO Z last weekend??

Looks awesome man. Question, howcome the Z only dynoed 196 at the wheels? doesnt that seem like a significant drop from the fly wheel? is it because of the type of the dyno?

243 @ 4.6 psi?!?!?! a member dynoed 245 NA with a fujita short ram intake.the turboed car should have been well in the 300's. mustang dynoes have a reputation for lowering the #'s but not by this much

Remember this is on stock injectors and with no tune! There's much more power to be made guys.

The white altima coupe only did 210whp stock on our old dynojet. There's absolutely no way that sedan makes 261whp on our dyno, with just an intake.

If you don't believe me, I can put Warner's Injen intake on my car and throw it on the dyno.

Well i know CVT's dyno really low, injen's chart only shows 195ish i think and it was on a CVT (that's just how CVTs are), but what I didnt understand was the 350Z.. 190??? that's way too low.

But yes, the 6MT altima dynoed at about 230-240whp stock.

Are you kidding me?????Is this for real? Are you honestly trying to fool everyone saying the the 350 loses 113hp in the transmission???? And somehow the DE motor in the a/c dynos 5 whp better than the new HR 350z? A stock DE motor in the a/c has dynoed between the 220-240 on numerous occasions. I call the flag for some kinda major screw up in the numbering department

The headers are going to have a turbo housing connected to them now, so they are custom built

Huh. I'd believe those numbers if it was a 2.5...sorry my 2003 Z dynoed at 238 N/A REAR WHEEL hp. @ 90 F...this just doesn't make sense I would expect a 3.5SE A/C to dyno at 210-220 fwhp N/A

If we dynoed this on a dynojet that number would have been at least 280-290 at the wheel as they read very high like a dynopak. All I know is what I saw for my own eyes, and what I saw the stock Z do on the dyno as well. I don't need to BS anyone, I'm on your side. Also, the car still has the stock exhaust on it which Artisan couldn't get to me in time. Once that goes on, I will put back on the dyno, that will really help put some more power down to the ground.

Bottom line, with the 4.6psi worth of boost the car gained 53hp at the wheels which is very good and that is the numbers the Mustang dyno read. Can't wait to put the new ECU and injectors in the car, it will really come alive.

Hey, if anyone wants a ride to feel it for yourself, your more then welcome. The car is soooo much faster then stock.

Cool, but i'd spend the 50 bucks and take it over to Xotic on rt 41 (about half way between Gap, PA and Delaware...about 45 min - 1hr from you (I used to live in Hershey and 'gulp' Jersey) just for a benchmark...I found it consistent, my Titan Dynoed at 268HP and 321Tq stock....he has a couple of 650+ camaros that stop by and a 93 Eclipse that runs on race fuel (it stinks)

hm yeah gonna need to do more modifications to get better power out of the A/C

was this the 6 speed or the CVT? you can probably get 45whp out of boltons... too bad we dont have 45whp worth of boltons yet.

well, we're only talking 4.6psi, thats nothing! In fact, a 53 whp bump and only 4.6 psi is pretty good. The stock motor could probably handel 10psi, with a good fuel delivery/managment system. Minimally, it could handel 7psi as a daily driver...why such a low psi??

Also, are you just running the stock fuel pump? Stock fuel delivery?

haha 7 psi, on this motor stock, will not be the minimal amount if you want to keep your engine for long. I will be leaving mine in 5psi for daily driving and 8 psi for race app until I do forged internals. Any more than that and you are risking a hole in the block

He said he has the stock injectors with no tune, I'm sure he doesn't have a Walbro fuel pump with stock injectors, wouldn't make sense.
