I just got a GoPro Hero2 Professional with the Motorsports mounts and have been recording random trips just to get some video files. Suggestions on what software to use to import the files and or do some minor editing?

Sorry the app I was referring to is for a different camera. And furthermore, I'm a Mac guy. Have you tried the YouTube editor online? Not sure how capable it is but might get the job done for now.

The two I am just beginning to check out: Adobe Premiere Elements 10 (at http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements.html) and MAGIX Movie Edit Pro (at http://www.xara.com/us/magix/movie-edit-pro/).

Both have trial versions available, but the Adobe one inserts background words into the output video till you buy the non-trial version and update with a serial number. I have not seen what Magix does to trial videos yet.

I am not sure yet which is easier to use ... by end of next week, I will be more facile after having tried them out (I am editing some hours of HD training videos that I took and need to put up for our employees).
