The two I am just beginning to check out: Adobe Premiere Elements 10 (at
http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements.html) and MAGIX Movie Edit Pro (at
http://www.xara.com/us/magix/movie-edit-pro/).
Both have trial versions available, but the Adobe one inserts background words into the output video till you buy the non-trial version and update with a serial number. I have not seen what Magix does to trial videos yet.
I am not sure yet which is easier to use ... by end of next week, I will be more facile after having tried them out (I am editing some hours of HD training videos that I took and need to put up for our employees).
