I did this in 2nd gear... next time I will do it in 3rd gear as I would lose speed in the straights (engine braking is dramatic in 2nd gear)... but the straights were so short it wasn't worth switching a gear... It was my first time so I'm learning still.

Once again K, you enjoy your car more than anybody on this site.

Awesome. I don't think I would be able to follow the cones.

i'm just trying to get my money's worth out of the car. Took me three runs before I understood how the cones directed your way. Once you get used to it, its very fun to throw the G and you feel the cars weight but it still goes where you want it. Doing this autoX event just made me love my car even more!

We had that guy in my Camaro club that was real big into that. He had an SS Camaro and he could whoop all the Porches and Vettes. He was such a good driver. I rode with him once. It is awsome to be a passenger in a car that has a driver that really knows how to make it scream. I did a little screaming too. :chuckle:

Yeah I bet... its very fast pace. I'm trying to get my fiancée to drive at the next one, I think she would do well.

nice! I recently went to a track day for SRT owners....they have cars to use instead of using yours. The head-to-head cone racing was a blast!

Looks like fun. I'd get lost with the cones :)
