clipping, where an item thats supposed to be solid runs into other "solid" objects. see if there are some drivers you need to update. it might just have a problem running with the program. it could also be the card not working with the program cause the program isnt supported by the card.

I did all that... How would a brand new geforce fx5600 not be supported by Vice City?

hmmm, is everything else working fine? what i meant is that the card and the program might not be compatable, but im not sure. id' take it back and see if you can get another and see if it still messes up.

Cause its an Nvidia... hell... all powerful graphics cards hate other components. De-mod it (save the mods somewhere else if it took a while) and see if it gets any better. Also check drivers, ATI cards are known for being released with crappy drivers, maybe Nvidia was trying to get the card out too fast cause ATI was kicking their *** with the new Radeons...

Hey what version is the driver for that card.. If your using the one on the disk.. Check to see if the driver is updated on the site.. I have the 5200 ultra 128DDR and I haven't had problems on any games. Check updates for the Board drivers also. Hoping that you got the AGP, Make sure your board is updated to 3.0 AGP support, If you can tell me what model the motherboard is i can find you the drivers for it. Also make sure you have all the patches for that game. It may have realesed some out for certain video cards... And also make sure you updated your Direct X drivers to 9. Let me know about the board model if those don't solve your problem... [email protected] -Jack

XP should have no problems with AGP support so I wouldn't worry about the drivers (well I haven't had any winxp agp problems...). But yeah getting rid of windows fixes everything...although you won't be able to play GTA:VC on linux (well not easily anyways)

I"m talking about the drivers for the Motherboard.. Not the XP drivers in general.... If you get the Service packs for your board from the manufacturer.. They update everything from IDE, AGP,Chipset, all of that stuff gets updated.. I found that a couple of people had this problem.. Thats why i recommend updating drivers first. And umm ya Geting rid of Windows does fix everything but why be board with limited OS that rarely suppports everything. Anyways I run 4 Servers at my house and I haven't had a problem yet with any of them.

i think you should get some money in the game. maybe they're messing with you cuz you're just driving around in some mitusbishi, and you're not getting down to business. i'll tell you again it goes like this:

first you get the power. then you get the money. then you get the *****. don't be a dummy.
