vibrations

As most of you probably know, when you put a 3" exhaust or a system into a 240SX its gonna rattle and vibrate the car. I dont know much about it but i remember a long time ago i read about like a vibration dampner or something that lessens the vibrations. where can i get one of these and how do they work?

hmmmm, my stock exhaust vibrated worse than my 3" exhaust. as long as it's not solid mounted to the body you won't have any vibration problems over the stock one, more sound vibration yes, but not in an annoying "where the hell is that noise coming from?" kind of way;)

and as far as a dampner, you may be thinking of the engine torque dampner that mounts a small shock between the engine and the strut tower, but those will actually make your car shake because they're putting a fairly solid mounting between the engine's side to side motion and the body of the car.
