vibration?

Hello,i got 03 m45 and i noticed light vibration during moderate acceleration between 50 to 60mph. after it hits 60 it's just goes away. Please tell me why?Thanks,Caug

Could be a variety of things, any comment I make is a SWAG.

My guesses would be:

Unbalanced tires. Another possibility is "silent" pinging due to bad or low octane gas, that is manifesting itself as vibration. Or wheel-bearings.

Worst case, you have a driveshaft or shaft bearings problem. But, this I would doubt, since you have not had the car that long.

Please let us know what you figure out ...

Z is right both of those things will cause a harmonic vibration at a certain frequency.

Something like a miss might cause that although that would more than likely cause a CEL to set.

If you let off the accelerator does the vibration go away?

Does the vibration continue when you are coasting at ~60 mph?

I had this sort of thing, and a rotate and balance straightened out the problem

bad gas is out, i use shell v power octane or sunocco brands.i will balance tires and we will see.Thanks for your inputs.caug
