Did you do any off road driving? Or was it all highway?Quote »At 40-65mph.
Have you tried driving at the same speed with the overdrive off? Just for the purpose of increasing the RPMs to rule out any engine problems?Quote »found what looked like a trown driveshaft weight in the 4 wheel drive shaft.
Inside the driveshaft? Did you remove the shaft as part of your inspection and that's when you found it?
And is the car fulltime 4wd or part-time? Should be part, if you got an '03, unless the LE included fulltime..I have an '04 LS and I have the part time...do you have an actual shifter for 2HI-N-4HI-4LO? Next to the transmission shifter? I'm assuming at this point you have the front driveshaft back in the vehicle? Usually, from what I've experienced, if the steering wheel is vibrating, you have an issue up front....if it's felt from the seat, it's usually an issue with something in that region, i.e. trans or transfer case...Is there any noise being made to accompany the vibration?
