Alright, I had an almost EXACT problem in my 240 a year ago, and it took a little work to find (it turned out for me that the vibration wasn't related to the suspension). I thought it was a tie rod or crappy bushings or something, replaced them (it needed 'em anyway, I used to drive it like I stole it). well as it turned out, somewhere along the way I threw the driveshaft balancing weight, which is really no more than a small piece of steel welded somewhere to your driveshaft IF it needed it. No offense guys, but not all driveshafts leave the factory perfectly balanced, no matter how well turned they are, and mine was secondhand. I guess it wasn't welded on that well to begin with. But at 72 mph it caused a harmonic vibration that in the end, tore up my motor mounts and the seals in my transmission. LUCKILY the motor bearings and seals were OK (found that out during the rebuild 20k later). Ironically, the only evidence I EVER felt from this was a steady vibration in the gas pedal, probably from the driveline getting the piss shaken out of it.
That's just my story, but it's an easy check. If this is a recent development, I'd say jack up the car and look for fresh metal on the driveshaft. It'll stick out like a sore thumb if it's there. If not, I hope it's some simple non-detrimental problem. I'd take a hard look at this though, vibrations destroy good parts, and break bad ones.
