I get a vibration at 1300 - 1500 RPM in my 2009 Rogue. It's like being in a gear that's too high for the conditions. Its very annoying. I'm not a rocket scientist, but vibrations +mechanical devices don't seem to mix well. Any help wud be greatly appreciated

As Leo said it's been discussed at length and the bottom line is that this is exactly how the Rogue is designed to perform. You're right, it vibrates because it's selecting a very high gear at low speeds for fuel economy, and this works with the Rogue because of the specs of the engine and the CVT programming, see the above link for all the details.

Once you know that it's supposed to do this, I find that it is no longer annoying at all. Vibrations that indicate problems on the other hand are very annoying!

+1

so true. The first month I had my Rogue it drove me nuts, now, even when I try to look/feel for it, I'm so used to it its hard to differentiate from normal car vibrations. I'll also bet an engine which has been broken in will vibrate a little less.

Also, I hope you mean 1(Point)3K and 1(Point)5k.

If you are running the engine at 13000RPM, then you're probably experiencing a whole different set of problems. Big ones!

im passing the word around about my vibrations that i am having for 6 months nissan kept stating that the vibration is normal but its not, ask them for the specs and wheres its coming from- they dont know, in my case it was a binding axle shaft. have them put it on a host and put in drive, it shouldnt make any noise and shouldnt have any abnormal vibrations. i have a video if you would like pass the word around
