Hi, just picked up a m45 sport last week and was wondering if anyone else has felt a slight vibration in the steering wheel at 75 to 80 mph. I love everything about this car so far except for this vibration. I hope this isn't something I have to live with because of the bridgestone 40 series 19" tires on the sport.

Welcome to NICO!

Sounds like you may have a tire balance or a tire problem. A more serious possibility would be a driveshaft problem, but your car is way too new for that!

I'd suggest a trip to the dealer to properly balance the tires, on the latest Hunter system. Also consider doing a "force balance" on the tires. If that does not work, I would recommend getting them to replace the tires.

Amen! Get to the dealer now! I cruise 80mph to work and back and my new M45 is smooooooooooooootttttthhhhhhhh. Your car's not just too new but too expensive to vibrate at 80mph.

Let us know what happens.

Its either tires or brake rotors.

Thanks for the replies, I spoke to the dealer today and he told me to take the car in to have it checked out. I was just interested to hear if anyone ran into the same problem with their sport and what the fix would have been.

It would be good to get the dealer to take a look too ...

Hi waldis, I haven't made it to the dealer yet but I did have the tires road forced and rebalanced the other day. It did make a slight differance but it's still there, when I make it back to the dealer I'll report back. Does anyone know if all the sport models come with bridgestones or do they also run goodyears?
