I haven't had this PF very long but I noticed that at 1000 rpm there is a slight, what seems like a, "harmonic" vibration.
The engine usually idles at 800 rpm but occasionally it will idle at 1000 rpm and I notice the vibe.
I changed the timing belt, water pump, and t'stat before registering/driving it so I don't know if the vibration was there before then. Now I'm paranoid that I didn't get something right with the timing belt or something. I'm hoping you'll have a suggestion that it's something else. I do have an OBDII reader, if that might help with your thoughts on diagnosing this.
I've driven it about 800 miles since then.
I wouldn't think it has any relevance but I'll throw it in here anyway.
I'm getting an evap code (and knock sensor code) every 2 or 3 days.

Mine has it too. At idle at a traffic light is when I notice it the most. Does it go away when you put it in neutral? I would think engine mounts, exhaust, or something in the drive line. I just had my transmission replaced and a ton of stuff done to the engine (still waiting on the paper with the full breakdown) and it still does it so I have pretty much ruled out anything inside the engine or transmission.

I have torn out some of the rusted, loose heat shielding and that seems to help with the rattling I used to have, but the vibration is still there. If I put mine in neutral, the rpms jump a little bit because there is no drag from the drive line and the vibration goes away. Eventually I am going to replace my full exhaust system from the manifold back and hopefully that will cure it for good.

Try this: With it in drive and the brake on while it is doing the vibration, hold the buttons to roll up all of the windows. The increased load on the alternator should make your rpms drop significantly. Did the vibration get worse? Now release all of the window buttons and shift into neutral. Is the vibration gone or still present?

Can you get a recording of the sound or at least describe what it sounds like? Does it rattle? Does it hum? Does it tick? Does the whole vehicle shake? Does it feel like it's coming from in front of you, behind you or right underneath you? Different things sound unique. An engine vibration will usually sound much different than an exhaust or drive shaft vibration.

The only time I notice it is if it's idling at 1000 rpm in park/neutral.
Any load on the engine, or throttle applied, will change the rpms and the vibe. goes away instantly.
Again, I would describe it as a "harmonic" vibration in the engine. I'm not saying that I'm sure that's what it is and where it's coming from. That's just what it feels like to me.
