After reviewing the many VH45DE swap in S13s I have decided to go twin turbo. I seen only a couple TT setup and from the few I have seen I have put together my ideal TT setup. I have my engine but not the car(Waiting for a good rust free chassis). First I was going to go rear turbo but I realize how easy it was to make a turbo manifold. So I was wonder if any one would post up there TT setup in there s13/s14 so I can get an idea how to design my manifold also if you have some under belly pic that would be great. Here is my mock up........lol

I know its not to scale

no one has done a s14/13 twin turbo vh...least no one online.you'll find that twins are more bling than anything...i had considered it but i also know i can get the same results out of a properly sized single with less headache.

I'm doing a rear mount setup. Remove fuel tank. Put a fuel cell in trunk. Turbos in the back less engine heat more room in the bay where the v8 sits instead of the inline 4 lol Less of a piping/clearance issue.

The funny thing is if I did it again I'd go with twins instead of the single. I'd go with 2 internal w/g turbo's and get rid of the external w/g and associated plumbing. Mine is a little different due to the mud etc it has to deal with but external wastegates create almost the same headaces as a second turbo. With a twin turbo I'd have basically the same exhuast as the external waste gate I have has a 2" pipe from it and is plumbed back so twin 3" with no external waste gate would fit just as easy. Plumbing the waste gate into the exhuast before the muffler actually helped boost control as the 50mm w/g was borderline to control boost untill plumbed in. Where it joins is 3" just before muffler and then exits to 4" so provides a bit of back pressure on the turbo at high flow but sweet for quick spool.

My plans for the next evolution have the turbo's in the same place as above but with an laminova tyoe I/C in the inlet manifold. Simpler intake as effectively no I/C, 2 smaller turbo's as the T04z I have isn't really needed as I'm not going to try for more than 600hp anyway.

So I might just sell the complete turbo, wastegate, I/C stup I have and start again, soon! I am a mortgage broker after all so money isn't exactly flowing at present!!!!!!!
