Hey guys, im just after any info or input you may have regarding camshafts in both vh45de and jdm vh41de. Basically I have a vh41de in a r32 with z32 5sp and I also have a complete vh45. I plan on putting the 45 crank rods pistons in the 41 rather than fit the complete 45 as the 41 is in there and running and to change for the 45 would mean changing alot of things due to the physical differences in alternator, headers etc etc. I am just not sure if there are any difference in the camshafts and if so, will they restrict the larger capacity. I have attached a link to the only info i have found. Its a well known camshaft supplier in NZ who have alot of experience with these motors and they list the specs of the standard camshafts. I dont know much about cam specs but they lead me to think my vh41 cams actually would be better than the vh45. So please any help or experience with hybrid vh41/45 I would really love to hear it.
