I've been searching but without luck.

Does anyone know where I can find an underdrive pulley for my VH45DE?

Seriously? No one's heard of a light weight aluminum crank pulley for the VH45DE?

It's been done but without good results. The factory pulley is balanced for your engine and putting a different one on it will require more work than the hp increase it provides is worth, IMO. I want my water pump to do what it's supposed to because it's street driven. If you're track only look into a elec pump, elec p/s pump and run your alt off of your driveshaft.

vh motors are internally balanced, no???meaning the pulley just needs to be internally balanced (by itself, neutrally balanced)

its the vibration from crankshaft harmonics it needs to be able to deal with, ie imagine the crank as a tuning fork, going 'diiiiing' the front pulley is designd to 'dampen' (as this is what the front pulley is aka'd) this harminic 'ding'

machine an inner up, and separtely machine the outer without the grooves, bond some rubber between them, then finish machine the groves and face the outer pulley, then send the finished pulley to get balanced.

now this would cost you about 6 squillion dollars, not really worth it.but a solid, balanced pulley will satisfy the vh without too many dramas, as remember it will always have a tensioned rubber belt loading it and taking some of the ding away. alternatively dewel the crank and cams.nat0
