Maybe i;m a little off today, but i cannot seem to find any info on swapping a VH45DE into a 2wd d21 hardbody. there was some stuff on the 4x4 thread, but nothing for a 2wd. I know we've all thought about it, but has anyone tried it yet? Feel free to hit me with linx.

would be easier in a 2wd since there's no front axle in the way.

To the best of my Meta-Searching I have not found anything on this subject.

I have personally seen small block Chevy V8's in D21's but not a Small Block Nissan V8.

It would be nice to try as a 2WD conversion since the front end is much simpler than a 4x4, (Just like DR stated).

It seems to me it should be able to bolt in if the truck is a v6 automatic. At least I don't know why it wouldnt.
