So I'm in the process of cleaning up my VH45 and preparing it for boost.

I don't need any emissions equipment and am wondering what I can block off and what I need for running of the engine.

Where is the hose that pulls a vacuum on the crankcase? I'll need to plumb it in front of the turbo(s) to keep a vacuum on the crankcase at all times.

What all can be deleted/blocked off that is not necessary for running of the engine?

I think the hose at the back of the driver's side head is coolant but is it for hot or cold coolant?

I scored an almost brand new water pump for this motor for $4 at the local pull-a-part so that is cool. Saved some money there...

I now have an extra 90mm TB if anybody needs one.

Thanks!Dan

The coolant hoses in the rear are for the heater. You can plug them or use them to run an extra radiator.

For the rest of the hoses check out this diagram that I borrowed from another post.

Let me know if you need any VH45 parts, I'm fully stocked.

Techni,I have been watching your build on my350Z.com for a while. Sweet setup!!

I have access to MANY Q45's that are around my area.I'll keep you in mind. Thanks!

If you had an extra set of lower compression forged pistons I may take them off your hands...LOL

All of the stuff in those pics will be deleted or cleaned way up. Here's a pic of my minimalistic L26(not done in that pic...head just sitting there):
