Probably the definitive walkthrough on how to swap a VH45DE into a Z32, including pictures, transmission and mounting options, USDM and JDM differences. PDF download. Sorry to redirect to another forum but this info I have never seen so comprehensive on NICO.

I proof read this for Steven. It's a good list of what you have to think about and lists everything that has to be done. It is quite light on specific details such as crossmember modification, sump fabrication, wiring etc. But saying that is a great place to start if you are thinking about doing the conversion.

Unlike the majority of us here he payed a workshop in Sydney Australia to do his conversion. Shop is MRC.

I don't like some of the things that he did, for example spacing the crossmember, those 8" long swaybar mounts made out of box section and a few other bits and bobs. But he did retain power steering and aircon which is more than I can say

Can you link a build thread that has more of that info?

Yeah, those two are make or break decision points for me. But I'd still like enough room to fit a supercharger like GSRacer's s14 setup.

Superhatch has some good info on this site on how he did his. I believe he also retained power steering and Air con. Do a search for his stuff.

I don't think a centrifugal blower would fit in the Z32. I just can't see the room. Here is a piccy of mine

There just isn't the room behind the headlights like there is with the S14's. Single turbo on the pass side (RHD car, I'm in Australia) might fit ok, I reckon there would be more room on the pass side on a LHD car.

I have a Garrett T04B2 here and that is a real tight fit, could probably make it fit if I tried real hard. I'd prefer to go for a good screw type supercharger, a Whipple or similar.

Superhatch has no a/c but he does have p/s. I'm picking up his setup this weekend and I'll take pics once I get a camera.
