now when you get tired of 4k rpm on the interstate, get yourself a q45 diff housing (3.5:1 ring and pinion) and swap in whatever chunk, throw back in the car. We went this route for an LS1>s13 swap we just did cause the guy wanted to use a th300 trans.

Car looks and sounds ****ing sweet. It brings a smile to my face everytime I start mine.,, sr20who? **** that

Badass! More videos! And are you just running open headers in that vid or have you got it hooked up to more exhaust system?

I'm guessing you have those holes plugged in the intake tube between the maf and throttle body, right? If not, that'll help immensely at idle and part throttle.

lol

no not yet, im making a new intake tube tommorow, getting the exhaust done.

VERY nice! Its great to see it actually going.

Did you ever post what clutch and flywheel you're using? Sorry if I overlooked that.

Anyway, once the car is all buttoned back up id love to see a step by step build article. Certainly that would be something featured on NICO and VH45DE.com

Im using an ebay 12lb chrome moly flywheel and a z1 motorsports / rps turbo clutch, rated to 550lb ft of torque, very stiff. Once its all done ill do a start to finish on it , with a price list, Im scared at this point to see how much i have invested in it, uim thinking probably close to 5k, and i got the motor for free.

Well today, i put in the walbro, fixed all the vacuum leaks and got a dual 3 inch exhaust made, so was able to take it out for the first time for real, man o manthis thing screams at top end.

A few minutes ago i took it ot for one last drive and happend upon a new corvette automatic, we had a little run out the hole threw till third gear and i had about a car and a bit on him all the while spinning first, second and tripping third nicely.

After having driven my sr20 for a whole year at 325 whp, i can say this is just as fast if not faster. Time will tell.

Heres a couple new clips.

Sorry again for the ****ty quality, no one has a camera for me to borrow.

Pay no attention to the temp gauge it doesnt read right, and in a tribute to my lazyness i got the tach to work but not the speedo yet and its the easy one.

3rd gear half pull 3/4 throttle

That exhaust clip sounded good, too short though. Have any longer ones?

No it doesnt rea right, i have another gauge and it cruises at 180 degrees, and when you really get on it 195 then settles to 180

Very good!!! Looks brilliant and sounds amazing... Seems just loud enough.

If its anything like the Q, the VH stays really quiet at little to no throttle (IE cruising)

Nice work! How did you get the Tach to work with the ECU? I need to get my Autometer tach to work. The tach feed doesn't give the right signal.I would be careful using the Q45 diff as it works fine for straight line stuff, but on a track with corners it does not seem to hold up. Perhaps mine is toast?good launch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T41-cjlksyMone wheeling around corners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...earch=

Nicely done...and being a former Q45 owner I would be more than happy to meet up with you for some fun video tapping our cars doing burnouts, WOT runs, drive-byes....etc. I got a digital video camera that has not been used since I got rid of my Q and I need somebody to return the favor of me doing burnouts and having fun with my car also. The only problem is finding a place where we can safely do this and not get caught. I leave for vacation tomorrow and return on July 22nd so hit me up to let me know if you are interested. my email is "carpedm69" at hotmail addy.

Cheers...Rob
