iv been trying and trying and i am so close to losing it. we have the car wired up and everything. injectors are clicking and building pressure. i have a walboro 255 in the tank right now. we tore the manifold apart and looked to see where it had pressure and where it didnt. it looks like it has pressure going to the pressure regulator but not going to the rail. i have the vacuum leaks taken care of. if the regulator was bad it would atleast let a little bit of fuel by right? this is my first swap...

Make sure you're not confusing the fuel damper and fuel pressure regulator. Neither of these fail commonly - but you certainly have something going on. Any chance you have the return and feed lines connected backwards?

Check out the Q45 FSM available at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ for other ideas and an explanation on how those parts are supposed to work.
