VH45DE info

Hey guys, Im in the process of putting a VH45DE into a mates D21 Navara (hardbody) for him

Only problem is, the numbskull bought a block and trans with no ecu, loom, trans ecu, ignitors, afm or anything ...
Luckily it does have coilpacks
the joys

So I'm on the hunt to get these things.
Basically the plan is the run the original engine and trans as if it was in a Q45 but just without aircon and power steering

The all I should have to do in theory is patch it into the interior loom, run a custom dash and hook it up to the old igniton barrel
And run a new fuel tank/pump for the motor
A bosch 044 and a race foam filler tank should be fine for this

Anywhooo, we have no Idea what year this engine is. I can tell you its got about 120,000kms on it
I has VCT with a normal ally CAS with black cap. Has a simple plug on the side of the CAS.
Looks to have the x2 red and black vct sensors/triggers
I has side feed injectors that are grey topped
everything looks standard as far as I can see

Is there any tell tale ways to check what year this beast is ?
PS I'm from Australia and the motor is JDM

Any small bit of help would be soo much appreciated, cheers guys

if the CAS connector is on the side, and says NISSAN on it, its a 90-93. If its on the top, and says HITACHI its a 94+
