I was wondering if anyone has done this swap into a vert, i've been looking in the vh45de forum and it seems like there's only a handfull of s13's and 14's that have taken on this challenge. I'm leaning more and more towards the idea. if anyone has done this let me know, thanks!!

probably a fun weekend toy. keep it on the track, I had a bad experience with the CHP once and i don't wanna have to hitch-hike to work again

from what i've seen and read the vh45 weighs between 500-600 pounds WITH th z32 transmission, versus a rb20w/trans=600 pounds. so its not really a whole lot of a difference. i'm not sure how much a rb25 weighs but i imagine it around the same. weight isn't really an issue for me and I am by no means a racing professional. i've heard varying opinions from people who've done all kinds of swaps its all a matter of suspension tuning. theres a guy in the vh45 forum with a s13 that he takes out to the track and daily drives as well. i think it could quite possibly be one of the more unique swaps i've seen. don't get me wrong, sr's are cool and all, rb's are impressive as hell, but they both seem all too common these days.

Right now, I've got two vh45's in the lab. I'm not ready to dive into that project yet.

I almost did this swap to my vert, but couldn't justify putting more money into it when i already had the RB25.So i just threw the RB in it and called it a day.

Ive got a VH sitting right beside my vert. We just need to get an adapter plate made to fit the 350z 6spd transmission. Work in progress...

I've been planning on swapping a VH45 in my vert for the past year, lol. Just told myself I'd do it when I was done with my coupe's setup, ha ha.
