Hey everyone. I have a 98 Pathfinder with a vg33e. Its a nice truck but im looking for some more power. I've seen someone put a vh45 in their pathfinder. The only difference is that his was manual. I would like to keep mine automatic with the 4wd. Is this possible? Is the wiring possible?

I've seen it on NPORA but 1 he probably had an adapter for the manual trans to couple up to it, you probably need one for the auto too. Im just not sure if it would handle the power. Wiring is definetly possible cause he did it.

Well I do not think the auto transmission can handle that much horsepower judging from my experience

What are you doing to fix your trans slipping problem?

lol well he started his own business about 3 years ago so I hope he does not retire soon. Plus the transmission mechanic is not the same one as the one that mounted my turbo(and will also install Haltech and brakes).

im not too worried about the auto trans handling the power. Im planning on rebuilding it anyways. The only part that confuses me is the wiring.
like if i just get a q45 ecu and wire harness, wont i just have to splice the body harness onto the main harness?
