I have a question if anyone can give some insight. I have been looking at improving my throttle response and I want to get more out of the coils. If you don't already know me by now, I have a s2 wired to a s1 ecu (to leave room for nistune later) and I swapped boots so the would fit. I have ignitors, and the expensive spark plugs they call for. The engine is still N/A.

My question is that if I want to go aftermarket ignitor, my only option is the hks amp, right? I see talk of the Audi coils and LSX. What is the clear difference why nissan between s1 and s2, ignition wise? Could it be dwell time? I was looking at MSD products too. Any help or insight would be great thanks.
