Hi All, I have spent 4 or 5 hours researching this and cannot seem to find an actual list of parts used in a vh45det turbo / twin turbo. I'm writing a project plan and looking for required parts to go buy. I would love to know what others are using which is tested and proven parts in their vh45 turbos.

I am looking for around 650HP with a single or twin turbo setup. I am still researching the best setup, leaning towards a single at the moment.

Looking for the following plus any other, valve springs, valves, rods, pistons, what compression to run, turbos and wastegates to use (going to use external gates), Injectors, cams ( This is a big one, would love specs but not many people willing to give these out. Transmission, stall converter (looking at a 2 speed power glide) What kind of porting to go, inlet and outlet manifolds are sorted but still willing to listen to advice.

Thanks in advance. Email below for anyone who wishes to use it. Looking forward to any answers.

If anyone is in Melbourne Australia would love to hear from you also.

Craig

Hey Craig,

I have access to most of the things you are looking for. We were building a twin turbo vh45 with new pistons, rods, cams, springs, copper head gasket..etc

Our setup would defiantly have you covered for power, as we were hoping for close to 1000hp and a high rev limit.

I would defiantly love to talk.

Cheers

HI James, Thank you for your reply. Your parts sound like what I am after. My budget isnt massive for internals so im not sure if it would all cost too much but I am definitely keen. My email is [email protected] if you would like to email.

If you could please let me know an exact list of everything you have, exact specs and any other information it would be hugely appreciated!

Where abouts are you located? I am in Melbourne.

Also wondering why you didnt go ahead with your project.

Kind Regards,

Craig
