VH45 S13 cylinders 2,4,6,8 not firing

im having a problem with my vh swap in my s13. as the title says im not getting any spark from cylinders 2,4,6,8. i have checked all the coils, ignitor and the harness and they are all fine. i also dont have an fsm for a 1990 q45 to check the wiring so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Gotta ask, but is the ground connection at the end of the harness, past #8 cylinder, bolted to the engine and corrosion free?

The coil harnesses get hot and brittle since they're covered by the spark plug/coil ornamental cover. Did you check the continuity of each of the wires back to the connector with a voltmeter, especially the ground wire?

I have swapped coil pack harnesses from one side to another and no change. so I know the harness is good. I assume it is a problem within the engine harness or something just dont know what pins to check.

its most likley the ignitor or the ground as mentioned above. try swaping the left and right bank ignitors.

As I said above, I've already done all that. Seems it has to be a wiring issue in the engine harness. I will probably just swap the entire harness since I can't find an fsm for a 1990-1993 Q45.

The one I have for a 94 shows a different plug for the ignitor.
