Not to long ago I stumbled upon the VH45DE. Sweet! I have a 86.5 Nissan Pathfinder, chopped, doorless and gutted. I was going to sup up my vg30, but why would I waste my time with that when I could swap in a Nissan V8. Here are some pics of the 1/2finder.

Cool idea, but with as much swearing at Pathfinders as I already do at work, I shudder to imagine what repairs in that cramped engine bay would do to my psyche... :ohno:

As you can see I'm open for making more room in the engine bay. Since the engine is much newer I don't need the old emissions crap. I'll also be going solid axle in the front. This is actually my first halfy. I was tboned about seven years ago, by some old fart . My cousin convinced me to take the doors off, then remove the hatch. We obviously couldn't stop there, so we chopped that s***. I aquired another Pathy, so I can choose to have doors now. I'll still chop the rear, and sas it. Thanks for the props dudes!

Thats pretty sweet.. VH45 in a pathy can be done, but its certainly not for the faint of heart.. Check out the VH45 forum for more info on what others have done.
