Weighed with my digital bathroom scale:

Complete VH45 cylinder head with VTC and cam gears (no valve cover, front cover, or manifolds):56.7 pounds.

VH45 crankshaft with the three front gears but no bolt or dampner:52.6 pounds

I'm going to get more weights tomorrow.I may weigh a cylinder head with 4 short runners, front cover, fuel rail, valve cover, and exhaust manifold in the morning.

I think there were a few posts about weight, most were around 500 for a mostly complete engine. All I know is that it weighs a lot less than a n/a VG. My car rides at least 1/2" higher after the swap.

That sounds about right. I have slid both engines at the same time around my garage and definitely noticed the VG weighing in say approx 1/3 heavier:).Pretty sure one of our club guys weighed the components individually and totalled around 350kgs!! I know the VG block is VERY heavy for what it appears.I think the zed32 is heavy due to mainly its running gear, big strong gearbox, subframe and diff, and that stupidly heavy engine. I once dead-lifted the back of a stripped zed chassis on my own. Just about broke my ringgear but could be done.

I don't think my scale is accurate enough to do such a light weight thing. My rods were overheated (lack of oil from timing chain guide getting sucked into the oil pickup) so I'm going to practice doing rod balancing/race prep with them since they are toast. I'll pull out the triple beam blance and get the mass of each end of the rod, and then just the mass of the whole thing.

I found it on a paper about VH45, they are 402grams, pretty light!
