Car: lots of unique hot rods, and customs, with modern engines, and a good truck to pull the trailer.

Thanx for the pics, they are EXTREMELY helpful. A lot shallower than I had planned, but i can do that. Those are the mounts that you used to attatch directly to the Z32 crossmember mounts? Great pics.

[IMG][/IMG] View Image I hope those links or pics work. I am tring ot get this one off craigslist for $50, it is a mildon Small block chevy pan, with the wide flared out base, I figure cut it to make it super shallow as the other pic, and it should be a decent quantity amount of oil, but the hole in the side idea is my only thought for a good dipstick.

[IMG][/IMG] Any pics you can donate here would be appreciated. My goal is not just to build my own, but to make it easier for the next guy. I am going to build a few things with this setup, if it is as much fun to drive as I figure.I just ordered my Centerforce II clutch, and fidenza. Hoping that with N/A it will be a good start

Yeah, I am looking into making a bypass to keep the oil in the back of sump, and keep the pickup way back and to where it wont get blocked off if bottomed. But hopefully subframe will block it all.

How close does the oil pan get to the subframe, and steering rack? If you have any pics of it in the car, much appreciated. Got busy making money on customers cars, so have to wait a few days to weld up my pan and drop motor in enginebay.

yo, its pretty close to the stearing rack, but the racks are very high on a z32.the rubber mounts i use are very stiff so it does not touch.i have pics of it but not sure where they are.its about 5mm from the rack.my gearbox is in the stock position so from the box back everything is stock z32.i'll check wheres the pics tommorow.my secretery should find them she's the one who knows where theese things are.cheers
