Hello!

Im trying to put a vh45 into a patrol mk 1982.

I have made a custom flywheel but im not "convinced" or happy with the work that the machinist has done.

Anybody knows the diameter of a pathfinder (vq35) flywheel?I havent found this info, and im not shure if its bigger than a 300zx flywheel.

If its bigger (Overall Diameter), it would be no problem to adapt... if its smaller... uhh.In chile its a little complicate to find a 300zx gearbox.

I have talk to a friend of mine that works in nissan and he can bring me the pathfinder flywheel.

any help will be very usefull...

thank U all!!!Chris

Because... ?

7079 Grade aluminium is the highest tensile you can get, and it has a wear plate steel insert. Quite the opposite of ewww !

yea..i know, but cuz i cant get the gearbox with the starter motor, the flywheel diameter will not fit the standart vh45 starter motor. (or yes?)The flywheel from the vg30dett is the same as the vg30DE??

Thats my problem.

I only have the "ring with the teeths" (cercha in spanish) without flexiplate. If i could get the flexiplate i can put it between the motor and the flywheel from the 300ZX.

thank you!!!

That will be great but im in CHILE!!! a little far away... (any chance of shipping) How much and where can i get one of those????Ill need the other clutch things too... ufff (dont know how to say in english )

The weight of this flywheel is???

i dont need a very lightweight flywheel, remember that the motor will be put on a 4x4... i use it for offroading... i dont want to loose to much torque!!!

Thanks...Chris

Hahaha, a girl I know just came back from Chile.Sounds like my flywheel will not be suitable for your application, it's only around 4.5kg... though you wouldn't lose much torque, you'd just need to have greater throttle control.

Oh man, tough question... I forgot, I've got all that at home.

But the maximum diameter clutch setup that can be used inside a VH engine ring gear is 9.1/2"

10" leaves no room for drilled & tapped mounting holes for the pressure plate.

Oh yeah... and she's hot

I'm pretty sure 9.3/4 won't fit, I worked it all out... 9.1/2 only just leaves enough room for the fasteners... any larger diameter pressure plates exceed the inside diameter of the ring gear.

Ooooh yes please, maybe you can help me !

I really really need a manual for the Y32 Cima VH41DE... not for american infiniti models, but the japanese version ! Can you please find out for me ?

Any information at all that you can get. Wiring diagrams, service manuals, everything :D So far I've had to rely on (slightly different) information pertaining to the Q45 to get things done !

By the way, are you Swiss ?
